The action plan for moving beyond loss

Updated: Aug 9, 2018

Unresolved grief can be a major underlying issue in many people’s lives and can be as a result of a variety of losses, such as a bereavement, the end of a relationship, divorce, moving house, pet loss, loss of health and many more besides.

My name is Jill Frampton and I am a certified Grief Recovery Specialist. I experienced my own difficult journey after losing a baby daughter and a few years later, my young son whilst also witnessing the grief suffered by those around me. Following this significant life event, I felt compelled to go on and help others by becoming a certified Grief Recovery Specialist.

The key to recovery from grief is action, not time [*2]

How can I help?

Based in Stafford in the West Midlands, UK, I offer both group and one to one grief support in Staffordshire and surrounding areas. If you or someone you know is feeling lost, stuck or heartbroken, the Grief Recovery Method® is a programme of guided self-help that teaches how to let go of the pain, enjoy positive memories and lead a happier life.

What is unique about the Grief Recovery Method® is that, when followed in order as a series of small steps, it leads to the completion of all the unresolved business linked to loss

I am currently booking dates for Grief Recovery programmes which can be accessed as part of a group or on a one to one basis. Each programme consists of weekly meetings at a local venue that are led by myself with new groups starting in September 2018.

The Grief Recovery Method is not counselling, therapy or an alternative treatment. It is a highly effective, educational programme [*2]

One to one sessions are currently available and can be arranged at a time that is personally convenient to you. There is also a specialist programme which teaches adults how to specifically help children dealing with loss.

Group programmes - Starting September 2018 [*4]

8 weekly 2 hour sessions - £170 per person in total - £21.25 per session [*7]

Helping children deal with loss programme for adults [*5]
